Who We Are
Blue Ridge Trout Fishing was created by our family to offer visitors a quiet farm oasis where they can relax, unwind, and enjoy fishing the way it was meant to be.
Too often, public fishing areas can be overcrowded and noisy, making it difficult to truly enjoy the peaceful experience that fishing should provide. Our goal is to create a place where guests can escape the crowds and reconnect with nature.
Owned and operated by Lee and Emilie Louthan, Blue Ridge Trout Fishing is our way of sharing a small piece of what we call our own little slice of heaven.
Where are we located?
Berryville, Virginia / Jefferson County, West Virginia
Our ponds are located on Shady Grove Farm, a fully operational cattle and crop farm that has been in Lee’s family for many generations. The farm’s long history and beautiful landscape make it the perfect setting for a relaxing day outdoors.
What we offer
We offer two fully stocked trout ponds along with several scenic spots where you can settle in, take a peaceful morning or afternoon reset, and enjoy the surrounding mountain views.
